Save Gas Tips that anybody can follow

You don’t have to be anybody special to save gas. In fact, if you are willing to take a few of the necessary steps you can save a lot of gas and money from here on out. Believe it or not, many people do not follow save gas tips because they are simply too lazy. Does this sound like you? If so, forget about being lazy and save yourself some money. Once you see how much you can save it is safe to say that you will begin to search for new ways to improve your situation even more.

One gas saving tip that is easy follow has to do with how fast you drive. Do you have a lead foot? On the highway you should try to stay within the range of 55 to 65 miles per hour. This may sound slow, but it will help you to save quite a bit of gas. Once you begin to push 70 miles per hour or more you are going to kill your gas mileage.

Does using the air conditioner waste gas? In the city, this may be true; especially if you are sitting in traffic. But on the highway you should use your air conditioner. Putting your windows down will increase wind drag and in turn decrease your miles per gallon.

Finally, when driving in residential areas do not speed from one stop sign or stop light to the next. If you know that a stop sign is coming up you should begin to slow down well in advance. This is a simple change that can save you gas.
