Unfortunately there are many documented cases when airbags do not go off as intended or at times go off when they are not supposed to. If an airbag fails to deploy or is late in doing so it can actually enhance the very same injury that it was designed to prevent. Sometimes airbags go off at various angles that are unsafe which can force the body into a state that is unnatural and unsafe.
